In-Store Mobile Experience: Strauss Brands

TLDR: in-store experiences that educate and influence first-time buyers

At Translator (where I worked at the time) we created distinct mobile site experiences for three product lines within the Strauss brand to educate and influence first-time buyers of veal products. Customers at Whole Foods and other grocery chains scanned QR codes found on meat cases, bringing them to mobile sites containing information about the brand and product offerings. We prioritized giving the user useful, relevant information upon arrival. Because many people have never purchased cuts of veal and/or may not know how to incorporate it into their cooking, we provided images, descriptions, and corresponding recipes for each cut of meat in an effort to influence and inform their purchases by making the products feel less unknown .
